Revamped Kaja gets another pass — smoother Skill 2, faster ult-lasso follow-up, extended flight when he hits an ally. The change Elgin himself flags as most interesting.

Sourcing & caveats
⚠️ Advanced Server only — not live. Now two-source: Elgin (2026-05-30, translated from Filipino) walked the pass first; Kazuki (2026-05-31) corroborates the same changes and names the patch — 2.1.86. (Updated 2026-06-07: this digest originally went out single-source and unnumbered; Kazuki's video confirmed both the number and the directions.) Numbers are still creator-stated, pending in-client confirmation. The follow-up pass a week later is 2.1.88 — note it reverses several of these changes (Ling, Kaja, Masha), the usual advance-server churn.
Status
This advance-server balance pass is patch 2.1.86 — named by Kazuki (2026-05-31); Elgin (2026-05-30) walked the same changes a day earlier without a number. It lands a week after 2.1.84 (2026-05-23) and iterates several of the same heroes again (Zhuxin, Ruby, Odette, Masha) — the weekly advance-server cadence. Several heroes move the opposite direction from 2.1.84 (Zhuxin buffed here, nerfed there), and the following pass 2.1.88 reverses several of these again (Ling's buff undone, Kaja/Masha experiments rolled back) — the usual advance-server churn, and exactly why these numbers stay out of our live tiers. None of it is live.

Read: Ling's historical weakness is a slow, energy-starved early game — he scales hard but is exploitable before his items come online. An attack-speed bump (faster clears, faster energy generation off the ult-mark basics) plus a cheaper, lower-CD S2 directly targets that window. If it ships near as-is, it nudges Ling up from his current B-tier soloQ-ban-pressure spot. But it is advance-server only — and the follow-up 2.1.88 pass reversed it — so our live tiers keep Ling at B until the in-game client confirms it.

Aggregate read
A broad re-tune, no new content. The headline for our purposes is Ling — a genuine early-game buff (attack speed + cheaper, faster S2) that addresses his single biggest weakness, which is why it's being talked about. Kaja's continued revamp polish is the change Elgin himself rates highest. The nerf list (Suyou / Leomord / Claude / Odette) reads as trimming early-game burst and dive sustain.
Because this is advance-server only — and because several heroes (notably Zhuxin) move the opposite way from the 2.1.84 pass a week earlier, while the later 2.1.88 pass reverses several of these again — none of it is committed to our live tier tables. Re-check after the live patch ships and the in-game client confirms the numbers.
