Live on the official server (per Elgin, 2026-06-17). The hero Kazuki flagged as "coming soon" in the Season 41 preview.
No ultimate. Two base skills → four moves via a drag-combo system (drag one skill into the other to fire an enhanced version), gated by an energy meter.
Skill 1 = mobility: a double dash (first follows your facing, second follows the joystick), physical damage that scales with extra physical attack.
Skill 2 = "Crimson Maple": a fan-shaped AoE in front, then a delayed second hit at the target for ~2× the damage — fast jungle/wave clear.
Enhanced combos: Infernal Torrent (drag 1→2) — dash, spin, AoE, immobilize (engage/CC). Falling Maple (drag 2→1) — go untargetable, burst, then dash away (dodge/escape).
Best burst: S1 dash-in → Infernal Torrent (lock) → S2 → Falling Maple. Weak to crowd control; pairs with engage partners like Chou / Angela. Tier is TBD — even the creator says "let's see if she's actually strong."
Sourcing & caveats
Hirara, the new hero teased through Season 41, has dropped on the official (live) server — and she's a genuinely unusual assassin: no ultimate, just two base skills that "drag" into one another to produce four different moves, all governed by an energy meter. Elgin posted two videos the same day — a release overview and a full gameplay + combo guide — which is where the kit detail below comes from. This is the live follow-up to the Season 41 preview where Kazuki first described her as a "2-skill, no-ultimate, difficult" assassin; the two creators agree on her shape. Caveat up front: the kit is from creator gameplay and translated audio, so the mechanics are reliable but exact numbers, base-skill names, and a meta tier are not in yet — none of this enters our hero tier tables until it's confirmed in-client.
Status
Elgin states plainly: "Hirara just dropped on the official server." So she's live, not advance-only — the payoff to the Season 41 preview, where Kazuki described the incoming hero #133 as a 2-skill, no-ultimate, "difficult" assassin. Everything below is the mechanical shape of her kit as shown in Elgin's gameplay; exact ratios, cooldowns, energy values, the official base-skill names, and any meta/tier read are not confirmed here and stay out of heroes.md / the tier tables until verified in-client.
The hook — a no-ultimate drag-combo assassin
Hirara has no ultimate at all — which Elgin and Kazuki both call unique in MLBB. Instead she has two base skills, and her core mechanic is a drag-combo system: drag one skill into the other and it fires an enhanced version, so two skills produce four moves. It's a high-execution, "timing and positioning before you commit" assassin — not a press-everything bruiser.
Base skills
Skill names below are by mechanic. Her two combo moves are consistently named across both Elgin videos (Infernal Torrent, Falling Maple); the base-skill names weren't clear in the translated audio, so they're omitted rather than guessed.
- Skill 1 — double dash (mobility). Hirara can dash up to two times: the first dash follows the direction she's facing (so aim/position first), and the second dash follows the joystick. Deals physical damage that scales with extra physical attack (so damage items make it hit harder). This is her safety tool — chase, dodge a skill, reposition, or escape after diving in.
- Skill 2 — "Crimson Maple" (fan AoE + delayed nuke). Unleashes a fan-shaped area of damage in front of her (physical, scaling with extra physical attack). After a short delay, Crimson Maple strikes again at the target location for roughly double the first hit's damage. Because it hits multiple targets, it clears jungle camps and waves quickly.
The four combo moves & the energy meter
Dragging one base skill into the other fires an enhanced move:
- Infernal Torrent — drag Skill 1 → Skill 2. After the dash, Hirara spins, dealing AoE damage around her and immobilizing enemies hit. This is her initiation / crowd-control tool: dash in, lock them, burst.
- Falling Maple — drag Skill 2 → Skill 1. Hirara becomes untargetable for up to ~1 second (enemies can't target her) — but she's immobilized during it — then deals a strong burst and can dash away in the joystick direction. Elgin calls it her strongest move: it's both a skill-dodge and a burst-and-escape.
Energy management is the skill ceiling. The combo moves run off an energy meter — she can fire about two combo skills before needing to recover, and using another energy while one is still recovering interrupts the recovery. Managing energy before committing is the difference between a clean combo and being stranded.
A passive note from the guide: once the passive is online (around level 2 via a combo skill), you can keep using combo skills even while the base skills are on cooldown as long as you have passive — which speeds up farming and rotations.
How to play her
- Best burst combo: Skill 1 (dash in) → Infernal Torrent (immobilize) → Skill 2 (hard to dodge while they're locked) → Falling Maple (extra damage + the untargetable window). Elgin's "best combo I've found" — it uses the whole kit and maximizes damage.
- Early game: take Skill 2 first for the damage; at level 2, start using a combo skill to maximize damage and trigger the passive. Max the dash early too — short cooldowns mean faster rotations to where your team needs you.
- Role: played here as a jungler, but the guide notes the emblem can flex if you're not jungling.
Synergies & counters
- Synergies: engage/follow-up partners who can keep pace with her fast dives — Elgin names Chou and Angela (plus "any hero who can keep up with her engages").
- Counters: crowd control. Once Hirara is CC'd she can be bursted down fast, so she's weak into heavy-CC lineups. Dive under tower only with the timing to get out — and never blind-dive into a waiting team.
Build — what's known
The guide showed an item set and emblem on-screen but did not name the items in the audio, so we're not printing a guessed build. What was spoken:
- Emblem: an assassin/jungle setup — Seasoned Hunter for the jungle (retained even off-jungle, or swapped for Festival of Blood), and Killing Spree for the move-speed + HP recovery on a kill. Items scale off extra physical attack, and the last two item slots are situational vs. the enemy lineup.
(A proper Hirara build + skill table for heroes.md should wait for in-client confirmation of the official skill names and numbers — see Notes.)
Notes & uncertainty
- Mechanics reliable, names/numbers not. Both Elgin videos agree on how she works and on the two combo names (Infernal Torrent, Falling Maple). The base-skill names were garbled in translation and are omitted; no ratios, cooldowns, or energy values were stated.
- Source is translated audio (Tagalog → English) from one creator's release-day gameplay; Kazuki independently corroborates her existence and shape (no-ultimate, 2-skill, difficult assassin) from the Season 41 preview.
- No tier yet. She's brand-new; even the creator is still testing whether she's strong. Hirara is intentionally not placed in any tier list or added to heroes.md until her in-client kit and early ranked performance are confirmed.
