Season 41 is "Scarlet Embers" — Hirara takes over the lobby from Marcel; everything lands Jun 17 with the patch.
Hard rank reset: Warrior/Elite keep their tier but lose all stars; everyone from Master up slides down one-to-two tiers; all of Mythic — including Mythical Immortal 100★+ — resets to Epic 1 or 2. Full table below.
Rookie safety net: Master rank has no demotion until you first reach Epic — after that, normal reset rules apply for good.
Season-reset mail pays out by your highest S40 rank (Warrior → Mythic+); Mythic+ also unlocks a 400-day exclusive mode.
Climb rewards: rank-protection cards at Epic/Legend/Mythic, an MVP star-prediction card at Mythic, a Hirara profile background at Mythic 25★, mythic coins at 15★, escalating cosmetics through Mythical Glory/Immortal.
Match rewards: Zhask season skin at 20 matches, an avatar border at 200.
Also Jun 17: Mythic Shop adds Valentina; Irithel gets a model-only revamp; Leila's Workshop battlefield effects; fragment-shop refresh; Brawl gets a recall button (no heal on recall) + visual pass; new scoreboard medals.
Revamp pipeline: Kaja, Masha, Natalia in testing for an upcoming patch (see the advance-server digests).
Sourcing & caveats
The deep version of the Season 41 launch the June calendar flagged for Jun 17. The launch facts here — season named Scarlet Embers, Hirara replaces Marcel as the season face, her Gilded Embers basic skin 51💎 for two weeks, the Angela first-recharge skin — are now two-source (Pixie in the June calendar + Kazuki here). The rank-reset table and reward tiers below are Kazuki single-source, creator-stated, pending in-client confirmation. Everything drops June 17 with the new patch.
The rank reset
Where you land in Season 41 based on where you ended Season 40 (Kazuki-stated):
| Season 40 end | Season 41 start |
|---|---|
| Warrior / Elite | Same tier — stars wiped |
| Master 4 / Master 3 | Elite 1 |
| Master 2 | Master 4 |
| Master 1 | Master 3 |
| Grandmaster 5 | Master 2 |
| Grandmaster 4 | Master 1 |
| Grandmaster 3 | Grandmaster 5 |
| Grandmaster 2 | Grandmaster 4 |
| Grandmaster 1 | Grandmaster 3 |
| Epic 5 | Grandmaster 2 |
| Epic 4 | Grandmaster 1 |
| Epic 3 / Epic 2 | Epic 5 |
| Epic 1 | Epic 4 |
| Legend 5 | Epic 4 |
| Legend 4 – Legend 1 | Epic 3 |
| Mythic (placement / 1–24★) | Epic 2 |
| Mythic 25–49★ / Mythical Honor | Epic 1 |
| Mythical Glory / 50–99★ | Epic 1 |
| Mythical Immortal (100★+) | Epic 1 |
Rookie-season safety net
The rookie-season system stays in place: Master rank gets no demotion — a cushion so newer players can learn ranked without dropping. The catch: the protection disappears the moment you reach Epic. If you then fall from Epic back to Master, your future season resets revert to the old (normal) rules permanently.
Season-reset mail rewards
Paid out by the highest rank you reached in Season 40 (Kazuki-stated):
| Highest S40 rank | Reward |
|---|---|
| Warrior | 500 BP · 1 premium fragment · 50 tickets |
| Elite | 1,000 BP · 3 premium fragments · 100 tickets |
| Master | 2,000 BP · 150 tickets |
| Grandmaster | 3,500 BP · 300 tickets |
| Epic | 6,000 BP · 500 tickets |
| Legend | 10,000 BP · 750 tickets |
| Mythic+ | 10,000 BP · 750 tickets · a Mythic-exclusive mode (lasts 400 days) |
Climb rewards
Milestones earned by climbing in Season 41 (Kazuki-stated; some higher-tier specifics were partly unclear in the source audio and are listed only where stated plainly):
- Reach Epic: 2 rank-protection cards + an Epic season tag.
- Reach Legend: 2 more rank-protection cards + an upgraded Legend tag.
- Reach Mythic: 2 more rank-protection cards + an MVP star-prediction card (shields a star if you top the scoreboard).
- Mythic 10★: an exclusive season name card.
- Mythic 15★: 10 mythic coins (redeemable for mythic-tier skins).
- Mythic 25★: a Hirara-themed profile background.
- Mythic 40★: a star-protection card.
- Mythical Glory (50★+): a full visual overhaul — upgraded season name tag, exclusive name card, exclusive profile background.
- Mythical Immortal (100★): the shining border.
Match-count rewards
Earned by matches played this season:
- 20 matches: the new Zhask season skin (its painted version becomes available in the achievement system).
- 200 matches: a season avatar border (Kazuki says "Season 40" — likely a slip for the S41 reward; treat the label as unconfirmed).
Note: this Zhask season-reward skin is separate from the Zhask Cancer Zodiac skin in the June calendar (Zodiac Summon ~Jun 22–23).
Also shipping Jun 17
- Mythic Shop adds Valentina (others remain available at 40 mythic points each).
- Angela first-recharge skin — recharge 20💎 → free avatar border; recharge 100💎 → the first-recharge skin; recharge on any 3 separate days → unlock a 50💎 rename card.
- Leila's Workshop gains three new battlefield effects: Nowhere to Hide, Healing Turtle, Golden Turtle.
- Fragment Shop refresh — new skins/heroes added, older ones removed.
- Shadow Brawl — Brawl gets a visual pass and a recall button (you do not heal when you recall to base).
- Scoreboard medals — MVP/gold/silver get new visuals.
- Highlight feature still in advanced-server testing; may be optimized before the original-server launch (corroborates the temporary Highlight Recorder in the June calendar).
- Survival mode — assets spotted, but Kazuki cautions it is not coming soon.
Revamp pipeline
- Irithel — model-only revamp ships Jun 17. Only her hero model changes; her kit stays the same.
- Kaja, Masha, Natalia — in testing for an upcoming patch. Kazuki expects them "in the very next patch" but also notes they're still in the testing phase, so treat the timing as unconfirmed. Their advance-server reworks are tracked in the advance-server digests (Kaja/Masha experiments were rolled back in 2.1.88 — the usual churn).
