July Promo Diamond Event & Mega Sale — Dates, Tasks, Discount Tiers, and the Skins That Won't Drop in Price

Promo Diamond Event (Jul 3–20)

The event runs Jul 3–20; the real grind window is ~Jul 6–20. Tasks are simple and stack:

• Log into the game → +20 promo diamonds
• Complete 2 matches (Classic / Ranked / Brawl / Arcade) → +15
• Recharge any amount of diamonds, or play 1 match with a friend → +20
• Pre-register on Jul 3 → +15
• Around Jul 20: claim a random promo-diamond chest — rewards range 19 → 1,111 promo diamonds. Pixie's warning: don't count on the 1,111, the odds are very low.

(The video's stated grand total was garbled in the audio, so it's omitted here — what's reliable is the per-task amounts above plus the chest range. Promo diamonds are spent in the Mega Sale.)

Mega Sale (Jul 21–27) — the discount tiers

The Mega Sale runs Jul 21–27; you spend promo diamonds for up to 50% off. Discount depends on skin rarity:

The skins that won't drop in price

The catch every year — several headline skins are excluded from the discount:

If you've been eyeing Ling's All-Star skin, Jul 1 is the cutoff — grab it before the sale, not during.

Magic Wheel, recall & turret packs

• Magic Wheel — Pixie notes Moonton usually applies a ~20% discount during the Mega Sale (so treat it as expected, not confirmed): 1 draw 60 → 48 diamonds, 5 draws 270 → 216 diamonds.
• Recall-effect pack — a draw at 15 diamonds/pack. Whether the most-wanted recall effect returns in this sale is not yet known.
• Tesla Tower turret skin — also a draw at 15 diamonds/pack, if you want to reskin your turrets.

Shining Album & the Street Fighter tie-in

A card-collecting "Shining Album" event runs Jul 3 – Aug 3 (32 days) — and it's how you get the collab skin, since promo diamonds cannot be used for the Street Fighter collab draws.

• Level 1 — 35 regular cards → random elite skin box
• Level 2 — 25 holo cards → selectable elite skin box
• Level 3 — 35 holo cards → selectable special skin box, which includes Joy Badlands Scrapper — a Street Fighter 6-themed special skin.

This is the acquisition path for the Joy skin tied to the Street Fighter collab. Separately, on Jul 17 there's a free reward of 2× Green Resplendent Dragon shards (used to unlock skin color variations) — no diamonds needed.

Notes & uncertainty

• Single-source (Pixie), dated/numeric preview. All dates, costs, and discount percentages are as Pixie stated them — accurate to the video but pending in-client confirmation when the events go live.
• A few names were unclear in the audio and are flagged inline rather than guessed: the new Aurora epic's name, and the two anniversary shop skins' heroes/names.
• Magic Wheel 20% is an expectation, not a confirmation — Pixie based it on past Mega Sales.
• No balance impact — this is entirely shop/event/cosmetic. Nothing here touches hero tiers.
