i9gH0rkCjkg(Hajun, "How to Comeback With Grock When Your Team Is Losing"), ingested 2026-04-29.
This is a comeback game guide — base at 10% HP, Suyou snowballing, teammates throwing. The thesis: when behind on Grock, you don't engage. You peel, wall, and stall until your late-game carry comes online.
Pick into late-game-scaling team comps (e.g. Natan jungle, Moskov gold, Yu Zhong) where the win condition is reaching minute 20 with all carries farmed. Don't pick Grock if your team's strength is early-game pickoff — better engagers exist.
"I always put the wall in between the buff and the jungler himself — that resets the buff most and delays it the most."
When invading enemy buff in lethal phase, drop S2 (wall) between the buff camp and where the enemy jungler will path back to it. Forces them to either path around (delay) or break the wall (delay + cooldown spent). Both outcomes cost their L4 timing.
"When you are very far behind, do NOT engage or initiate fights. Worst thing you can do. Play passive — let them dive your tower, get greedy, then counter-engage."
This is the load-bearing rule for the whole game state. Concrete tells:
Late-game Natan = stand-and-shoot win condition. Grock's job: peel the front line off Natan, not chase kills.
If your inhibitor is down: mid + bot lanes will keep super-pushing. Accept it. Don't force a base-defend team-fight every wave — let one teammate clear the cannon, sit on tower with everyone else, and wait for cooldowns. Trying to clear AND fight loses both.
Heroes on killing spree (3+ kills in a row) carry a high-bounty shutdown tag. They're your #1 ult target — even if it's a "wasted" 1-for-1, the shutdown gold is multiplied. In this VOD: Suyou had killing spree → Hajun pre-saved S3 to ult him specifically when Suyou tried to red-tree turtle.
Don't ult through a wall just to stun one enemy — Grock's ult is your team's biggest engage. Save it for:
If you're going to lose the turtle team-fight anyway, save ult for the steal:
VOD example: secured turtle from Suyou red-tree by ulting at the steal window despite losing the surrounding fight.
"In solo, your teammates won't always be smart. You have to prioritize yourself and stay alive — if you'd die for a strong teammate that's correct, but don't die FOR a senseless teammate. They won't capitalize."
Practical: if your carry is good → die-for-them is +EV. If your carry is the one who walked into a 1v3 with Flicker still up → save yourself, you're the only thing keeping the base alive.
