"Baxia is really really good in solo to trio AND in 5-man. He's good in all queues. He pretty much counters healer supports like Angela and Floryn."
His passive applies anti-heal innately — making him the highest-impact pick into healer/sustain comps.
"You can drag Baxia's first skill — if you drag it, you can move a different direction. Next time you jump on an opponent, drag onto them and you'll stun better."
Default S1 leap fires straight; hold-and-drag lets you curve mid-leap to land on a juking target. Lands the stun reliably vs mobile heroes.
When fighting Benedetta-types: wait for them to commit their dash, THEN S1. If you S1 before their dash is committed, they side-step out of your stun. VOD: Hajun waited for Bene's S2 to start, then S1'd on her landing point.
"Pick Baxia versus beginners especially. He's really good versus support healers."
Don't pick vs heavy dive comps where you have no follow-up — Baxia's damage is moderate, he needs teammates to convert.
Optimal pre-turtle path:
You hit L4 right at first turtle.
"The weakness of L4 rotation: you give up map control. In solo to trio I generally don't do this — gathering enemy info matters more than 1 extra level."
VOD: opponent jungler started blue → Hajun knew his next 4 camps would be red → Lethal → green → predicted gank route → repositioned to cut off OR avoid.
"Frederrin started blue. So next he goes red, then walks up to lethal. He's behind. I want him to stay behind, so I fight for that lethal."
"Process of elimination. Top? Hanabi too far back. Mid? Cecilion too risky to push deep. Bottom? Mincy is already pushing — I can hide in a bush and let her solo-tower."
Concrete decision-making at every spawn:
The optimal play is usually NOT engaging — it's standing in a bush near a free tower while a teammate pushes.
"Always pressure the opposite lane of Lord before doing Lord. If your top is pushed and a defender goes top, then Lord is 5v4."
This is "Lord dance":
When pushing with Lord active: let all three lanes' minion waves arrive at all three towers simultaneously. Forces enemy to split-defend; you just hit the lord lane unopposed.
Hajun's habit: middle finger underneath the phone, index finger always hovering over map to pan, thumbs for skills. Lets you keep panning during skill use. ~1 week to adapt.
